Retouching in the UK

I recently authored an article published in Mizunoo, a specialized Japanese magazine focused on conservation and preservation.
This is the second article in the series dedicated to the theme "Retouching in European Paintings."
In this piece, I examined the retouching materials commonly used in the UK across various media.
While many of these materials are traditionally applied to Old Master paintings, the article also highlights the latest techniques and materials employed in the retouching of contemporary artworks.
My goal was to provide a comprehensive overview that bridges historical practices with modern innovations in art restoration.
